In partnership with the Charleston LDC LAMC is providing $300,000 in microloans for Black-owned businesses in the communities of Accabee, Chicora/Cherokee, Union Heights, Howard Heights, Windsor Place, Five Mile, and Liberty Hill. Awards range from $2,500 to $25,000 with an interest rate below 4%. We are already working with a number of applicants and hope to disperse this funding as quickly as possible to allow our businesses to get back on their feet as they continue to to weather this pandemic.
