LAMC is partnering with the Rosemont community to help develop a resilience plan to respond to their chronic flooding issues. LAMC was awarded a $35,000 grant to collaborate with the Rosemont community to develop solutions for rainfall-related flooding and storm surge. LAMC hope to not only mitigate hazards in their work but help respond to the additional quality of life issues posed by community members, and develop a plan that represents their particular concerns and hopes for the future of their community.
