LAMC is excited to announce that our annual scholarship for high school students from LAMC communities is now open. Every year we award scholarships for college-bound students in our communities to help support them with tuition, room and board, and other college-related expenses. Interested students should apply through the Coastal Community Foundation web portal by clicking the apply button here. The LAMC scholarship is renewable for up to 4 years and the deadline is March 22nd.

Established in 2016, this Fund will award scholarships to students in the Accabee, Chicora Cherokee, Union Heights, Howard Heights, Windsor Place, Five Mile and Liberty Hill neighborhoods in North Charleston, SC for assistance with tuition, room, board, etc. Multiple awards will be made.

Must live in Accabee, Chicora Cherokee, Union Heights, Howard Heights, Windsor Place, Five Mile or Liberty Hill neighborhoods in North Charleston, SC
Application process and schedule:
Applications can be completed online beginning mid-January. Each applicant will only complete one application and the online system will automatically pair you with scholarships for which you are eligible.
The deadline for all applications to be submitted, including letters of recommendation, is March 22, 2024. All applicants will be contacted regarding their application status by early July.
