Education

LAMC’s educational initiatives and partnerships work together to close the educational gaps and reduce the barriers to education for low-wealth communities.

Build a strong network to assist in improving student outcomes and support adult education and career advancement through successful implementation of the following:

  • Pathways to Inclusion and Success program
  • LAMC’s college scholarship programs

Pathways to Inclusion

The purpose of the Pathways to Inclusion & Success Program is to prepare students with the knowledge, skills, and professional development opportunities necessary to grow in their careers and contribute to their communities.

LAMC’s Environmental Justice Academy aims to build the next generation of environmental leaders. Led by Omar Muhammad, our academy teaches the history of the environmental justice movement and trains future leaders to identify and respond to issues in their own communities.
